On August 1, 2025, Iconic Dutch rockband Wild Romance are set to release a longawaited new album, a project that marks both a tribute and a new beginning.This album is the final work cowritten and recorded with acclaimed Belgian guitarist Dany Lademacher before his passing, giving the release a profound emotional weight. The record features nine new compositions, including the powerful track Forever, in which singer Jo De Roeck explores the desire to keep both the band and himself alive forever. The second single, Loser, carries a melancholic, Tom Pettylike atmosphere, capturing the struggle with doubt and vulnerability.A standout moment on the album is a striking cover of Ik Wil Je, the classic hit by De Kreuners. Reflecting the strong bond between Dutch and Belgian musicians, Wild Romance and Dany Lademacher created a moving reinterpretation that casts the song in an entirely new light.Songs were contributed by Dany Lademacher, Jo De Roeck, Otto Cooymans and David Hollestelle. Recorded during 2024 and 2025 at Atlantis Studio in Amsterdam, the album was produced by Emile den Tex and Bent Langerak.In the coming months,Wild Romancewill tour venues across the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. These shows promise not only a powerful live experience, but also a heartfelt tribute to the musical legacy of Dany Lademacher.
