This is the first time the albums have been made available since their release in the 2018 boxset Unattended LuggageNick Masons Fictitious Sportsis Nicks debut solo album and his first work outside ofPink Floyd. Originally released in 1981, it saw him collaborate with a variety of different musicians including Robert Wyatt and Carla Bley. The album was recorded in 1979 at a session booked in America where Nick, Carla and Robert were going to bring their ideas together, but ahead of the trip, Carla sent Nick a demo cassetteIt was very different from what she had done before and absolutely in line with what I likecommented Nick in 2012 and it went on to be the nucleons of the album.Profilesis Nick039s first collaboration with 10cc guitaristRick Fennand was his second album outside of Pink Floyd. Released in 1985 asMason 43 Fenn, it is mainly an instrumental album except for tracks Lie for a Lie, which features vocals from Maggie Reilly and former bandmate David Gilmour and Israel, sung by UFO keyboardist Danny Peyronel.White of the Eyeis the soundtrack of a British thriller movie of the same name. Originally released in 1987, Nick once again collaborated with Rick Fenn and it was released in conjunction with the film039s release.
