Venues needed bands, and by 1965, there were 5043 semiprofessional groups gigging hard in the area.Little wonder that so much talent has developed on the North Thames Delta.60 Years of the Southend Scene celebrates that talent and has cherrypicked a selection of great tracks spanning thedecades, from the early 1960s through to artists at the very beginning of their journey.
