The band first formed in 2020 with lifelong friends Zac Lawrence vocals, Alfie Husband drums, and George Ullyott bass. Since then, the band has taken on many forms and now exists as a 6piece. With influences including LCD Soundsystem, The Stranglers, Captain Beefheart, and Can, DEADLETTER are known for their winding lyrical mazes atop alternaterockindie instrumentals. In 2024, they released their critically acclaimed debut album, Hysterical Strength, which NME called dark and foreboding and its irresistible and fun in a 4star review. Now, the band return with their incredible sophomore album, Existence Is Bliss.
