Named after the final film in Kielowskirsquos lsquoThree Coloursrsquo trilogy, 3 Colours Red were formed in London in 1994 and achieved two UK Top 20 albums and six Top 40 singles.Alan McGee regarded them as ldquothe best band in Britainrdquo after Oasis and signed them to his legendary Creation Records. The band released their debut album lsquoPurersquo in 1997 which includes the singles lsquoSixty Mile Smilersquo, lsquoNuclear Holidayrsquo and the title track lsquoPurersquo.Long out of print, Demon Records is proud to present the first vinyl reissue of lsquoPurersquo, pressed on 140g red vinyl and housed in a gatefold sleeve.
