Complicated

Jeff Scott Soto’s latest album, “Complicated”, is a rollercoaster of emotions that takes listeners on a wild journey through love, heartbreak, and everything in between. From the moment the first track hits your ears, you know you're in for a wild ride. Soto’s powerful vocals shine on every track, effortlessly switching from soulful ballads to hard-hitting rock anthems. The instrumentation is tight and polished, with each guitar riff and drum fill adding to the overall energy of the album. However, despite the impressive vocal range and musicianship on display, “Complicated” often feels like a missed opportunity. The songs, while catchy, lack the depth and complexity that could have taken them to the next level. It feels like Soto is playing it safe, sticking to tried-and-tested formulas instead of pushing the boundaries of his sound. That being said, there are still plenty of standout moments on the album.
