Suffer As One

Living Gate's latest offering, "Suffer As One," is a rollercoaster ride of riffs, growls, and more riffs. This supergroup, featuring members of Yob, Misery Index, and more, has created a monstrous record that will leave you headbanging until your neck gives out. From the moment the album kicks off with the ferocious opener "Deathlust," you know you're in for a wild ride. The guitars are thick and crunchy, the drums are thunderous, and the vocals are downright demonic. It's like being trapped in a hellscape made entirely of distortion pedals. But don't be fooled by all the aggression - there's plenty of nuance to be found here too. Tracks like "Heaven Ablaze" and "The Delusion of Consciousness" showcase the band's ability to weave melody and atmosphere into their brutal sound.
