Over the past 15 years of being active as one of Scandinavian Poprsquos most prolific and celebrated producers Andreas Kleerup has had huge highs 1 in the UK with Robyn and the lowest lows hersquos been legally dead from overdoses twice. Beginning with production duties for the likes of Roxette, the Cardigans and Shout Out Louds, the Swede then went on to release Kleerup in 2009, featuring tracks with Lykke Li and Neneh Cherry. Also during that era, he also wrote one of the best pop songs of the last 20 years for Robyn with ldquoWith Every Heartbeat.rdquoOn the new LP ldquo2rdquo Kleerup has been focussing on new inspiration from a couple of sources one, the importance of making himself happy, and listeners happy, with his music and two, hooking up with the likes of album collaborators Joachim Persson Lady Gaga, John Legend, Mr Tophat Robyn and AlunaGeorge to harness his creative spark. Andreas describes his previous record Kleerup as a ldquogreatest hits of everything Irsquod done up to thenrdquo and while ldquo2rdquo has some songs from the vault itrsquos mostly newer collaborations.
