When released in 1991, Beatsongs became The Blue Aeroplanes highest charting album with standout tracks including Yr Own World, Fun, Colour Me, and The Boy In The Bubble a cover of the Paul Simon classic.Outofprint on vinyl for over three decades, Beatsongs has been newly remastered for Record Store Day 2024 and includes a selection of Bsides from the era on side four.Pressed on two 140g translucent vinyl, housed in a gatefold sleeve with newly expanded artwork including lyrics, photos, and exclusive new liner notes by Gerard Langley, Alex Lee, and Rodney Allen. Remastered by Phil Kinrade at AIR Mastering from transfers of the original production masters.
