White Devil Armoury

OVERKILL's latest offering, "White Devil Armory," is a thrash metal frenzy from start to finish. With their 17th studio album, this New Jersey band proves they still have plenty of fire in their bellies. From the opening track, "Armorist," it's clear that OVERKILL mean business. The guitars are razor-sharp, the drums are thunderous, and Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth's vocals are as fierce as ever. It's like being hit over the head with a sledgehammer, in the best possible way. Tracks like "Pig" and "Bitter Pill" are relentless, full-throttle assaults on the senses. The band's signature blend of aggression and melody is on full display here, with every riff and solo delivered with pinpoint precision. But it's not all fury and aggression. "Where There's Smoke" shows a more melodic side to the band, with a catchy chorus and some killer guitar work. Overall, "White Devil Armory" is a solid addition to OVERKILL's already impressive discography. It may not reinvent the wheel, but it's a damn good time from a band that knows how to deliver the goods. Grab your leather jacket, crank up the volume, and prepare to headbang your way into oblivion. This is metal done right.
