Product Description

MATTIN Songbook #7 is a wild ride from start to finish. The album opens with a cacophony of noise, as if a dial-up modem and a broken drum machine are having a heated argument. But somehow, in the midst of this chaos, a groove emerges. The track "Noise Rock" lives up to its name with a relentless assault of feedback and distortion that somehow manages to be catchy. It's like being stuck in a washing machine full of broken glass, but in the best way possible. "Miscommunication Is Our Currency" takes things in a more experimental direction, with eerie synths and whispered vocals that sound like they're coming from the ghost of a 90s rave. The standout track, however, is "Existence as a Lie". It's a 10-minute epic that builds and builds, layering on dissonant guitars and pulsating rhythms until it reaches a euphoric climax that will leave you questioning your very existence. Overall, MATTIN Songbook #7 is a challenging listen, but one that rewards repeat listens. It's not for the faint of heart, but if you're willing to dive into its chaotic world, you'll be richly rewarded. Just make sure you have a strong cup of coffee on hand to help you make sense of it all.
