On 20th October 2023,nbspone day after its Golden JubileenbspPIN UPSnbspwill be issued as anbsplimited edition 50th anniversary halfspeed mastered LP.nbspThis new pressing ofnbspPIN UPSnbspwas cut on a customised late Neumann VMS80 lathe with fully recapped electronicsnbspfrom 192kHz restored masters of the original master tapes, with no additional processing on transfer.nbspJohn Webber cut the halfspeed at AIRnbspStudios. Recordednbspat Chacircteau drsquoHeacuterouville in France, wherenbspBowienbspwould later return to record the masterpiecenbspLOW,nbspPIN UPSnbspwas a collection of cover songs paying tribute to bands and artists that had inspired him and that henbsphadnbspseen at clubs such as The Marquee in London in the mid to late 60s.
