To celebrate the legendaryYoungFreshFellows039 40th anniversary, the band took one day off their hectic touring schedule to head to Wilco039s LOFT studio in Chicago. The band got GRAMMYAward winner Tom Schick behind the boards and some legendary guests across the album, including Neko Case sings lead on 34Destination34, John Stirratt of Wilco harmony vocals, Morgan Fisher of Mott The Hoople keyboards, Jonathan Segel of Camper Van Beethoven violin, Jenny Conlee of The Decemberists accordion, harmony vocals, Mark Greenberg of Eleventh Dream Day vibraphone, Peter Buck of R.E.M 12string guitar, and Dave 34Max34 Crawford of Poi Dog Pondering trumpet. This finished record, Loft, has never been released before and is finally seeing the light of day for theYoungFreshFellows039 40th anniversary.
