Flor Peeters was a renowned 20th-century organist, composer, and teacher from Belgium, whose music was influenced by Renaissance polyphony. This beautiful 4-part a cappella motet with an organ for rehearsal is easily prepared and performed by church choirs and is on many state education lists in the USA. Its liturgical text by Innocent VI is in Latin.
