Column protectors are a simple yet highly effective way to avoid damage to expensive columns and pillars. It works by absorbing the impact when hit by a vehicle such as a forklift truck or pallet truck this means no harm comes to either the column or indeed the driver. We have a wide range of column protectors to fit pillars of various shapes and sizes including an option for rectangular columns with adjustable straps. There are slimline protectors which are suitable for small spaces and posts that are 100mm or 150mm. Alternatively the standard column protectors are available in two sizes: posts from 150mm to 205mm or posts from 250mm to 305mm. The Universal option is supplied in four sections with cross members made from plastic which can be cut to fit posts from 200mm to 700mm. Once cut fixing the cross members is very simple just insert them into the corresponding upright holes and screw them together. The end result is robust and secure. The simple yet smart construction of each style of column protector takes no time to be installed. No fixings are required simply fit the protector over the base plate of the column. The column protectors are made from linera low density polyethylene and are coloured bright yellow which ensures they are highly visible to drivers in warehouses or other environments.
