Our notebooks are A5 in size and have 236 pages. They contain 100gsm, smooth, fountain pen friendly paper stock. Numbered pages allow for easy navigation. As you move through the notebook, the page numbers gradually change colour, taking you through the spectrum. Special binding allows the notebook to open freely and lay completely flat. The cover is subtly blind embossed with ‘Papersmiths’ on the back and a satisfying thumb print sized monogram to the front. Choose from dot grid, ruled or plain pages.. 148 x 205mm. We’ve all deepened our relationships with the grass and trees in our neighbourhood parks of late. Clissold is our local, but rename it what you will. Hyde, Heath, Victoria, Preston…. Cowrie. Named Cowrie after the tiny shells we collect on the beaches of Uist with a rough textured emboss to add some grit, just like the grains of sand on those Outer Hebridean shores.. Marais. Lavender linen anyone? Spotted on a puffa jacket in the Marais district during an accidental visit to Paris Fashion Week, this hue of lilas is finished with a linen emboss.. Morello. This burnt orange is the colour of the walls at our Chelsea outpost and our first tote bag. A pattern of tiny wiggles is embossed on the cover, in a nod to the squiggles and marks found on the testing pads in our shops. Named Morello, after our favourite ginger Tom cat.. Yolk. Egg yolks?
