These natural charcoal sticks by Faber Castell glide softly over paper without scratching or breaking, leaving a rich bluish-black line. They rub and smudge easily, and can be fixed with charcoal fixative.The sticks are available in four degrees of hardness: hard, medium, soft and extra-soft. This is an extra-soft stick, approx. 7.5mm in diameter.
