Clairefontaine Ingres Is A Laid Paper, Which Means That The Surface Of Each Sheet Has A Faintly Ribbed Texture, Perfect For Holding Graphite And Soft Pastel Colour. This Surface Is Characteristic Of The Traditional Handmade Papers Of The Pre-industrial Age, Which Were Formed In Sieve-like Moulds Of Wire Mesh Leaving Impressions On The Surface Of The Paper. These Sheets Are Made Of Cotton And Are Naturally Acid-free.
