The Sennelier soft pastel is a unique tool for pastel artists who have a passion for tradition and quality. Made from an extremely pure, selected pigment and a natural binder, the smoothness and velvety quality of the pastels are a result of a perfect balance between these two materials.  The exceptional luminosity of these pastels is a result of the naturally occurring minerals discovered by Sennelier in 1905 from the Champagne region of France, and these minerals are still used to this day to add hue and create the unique colour palette this range has to offer.
