Ampersand : Scratchbord Panel : 5x7in (Apx.13x18cm)

Ampersand Museum Series Scratchbord is a clay and India ink-coated hardboard panel for scratchboard artwork. Comparable to traditional paper scratchboard, except better Ampersand Scratchbord is more durable and easier to scratch into for cleaner and crisper details and lines. For added dimension, coloured inks can be added to the white areas and then scratched again for additional highlights and volume. Ampersand uses true high density hardboard made from US-grown renewable and FSC Certified Aspen wood fibres. Ampersand brand Hardboard is made without formaldehyde or harmful VOCs (volatile organic compounds) unlike other hardboards and MDF boards. Both their domestic and imported panels are made from FSC-certified forest products that promote sustainable forests.
