Corinium Museum

Get tickets here to dig up the past at the Corinium Museum! Unless you're a Roman expert, Corinium Dobunnorum isn't a name you'd probably be overly familiar with. You may know it better as Cirencester, a picturesque market town in the Cotswolds that's captured the hearts of locals and tourists for its pleasant scenery and quiet but charming nature.  But there's a lot more to Cirencester than what meets the eye. It was once an imposing Roman town, fortified and protected to the max as it engulfed the Cotswolds in its shadow. Then Britannia's second largest town, Cornium Dobunnorum was one of the most important cities in the region once governed by the mighty force of Rome.  This history is now encapsulated today in the Corinium Museum, for all to see.  Explore epic Roman Ruins As you might've expected with a museum in a former Roman city, the Corinium holds an extensive and varied range of Roman artefacts.
