Our Metallic Lycra Fabric is perfect for dance wear, stage wear, leotards, practically any pattern that requires an all way stretch fabric and clothing that needs freedom of movement. Metallic Lycra is an all way stretch, i.e. it stretches length ways, width ways and on the bias (on the diagonal). This fabric is certainly a show stopper! Its metallic finish is ultra shiny and catches the light brilliantly! Please note: the surface of this fabric is prone to scuffs or blemishes, this is not a fault, simply the nature of this fabric and adds to its appeal. Sewing Tip: If your sewing machine does not have a triple stretch stitch, we recommend using a stretch sewing thread such as Mettler Seraflock for a true stretch stitch your stitches will stretch with the fabric!
