The Petzl Tikkina Headlamp has had a bit of a revamp! It’s now brighter than the previous model and weighs 4g less! It has been designed for close proximity lighting and also outdoor adventures which involve walking, camping and trekking. The simple and uncomplicated design makes it very easy to operate so its perfect for the whole family.This torch features Petzl's Standard Lighting Technology. This basically means the batteries directly power the light source with the maximum light output when the batteries are fresh and then power slowly decreases over the lifetime of the batteries. There are three lighting modes, proximity, movement and distance that are easily interchangeable - just press the single button in the middle of the headlamp to change the brightness of the beam.The maximum light output is rated at 250 lumens and this can be toggled down to 100 and 6 lumens if required. The maximum burn time is 120 hours, and this is reduced to 2 hours on maximum power. This is the perfect headtorch to keep in your pack just in case you find yourself walking off in the dark.If you get caught out in a shower, the Tikkina is rated IPX4, therefore it'll resist light to medium showers of rain before anything begins to pass through.
