SEA LIFE Loch Lomond Aquarium is home to some of the most intriguing and beautiful sea creatures in the world. And with eight interactive zones to explore, from the tropics to Scotland's very own lochs, your adventure will take you all over the world. Take a wander through the Tropical Ocean Tunnel and see if you can spot rays and native dogfish sharks floating around your head. Peer in and get a closer look at them behind the strong glass. The tunnel will echo with the kids' laughter as you duck from an oncoming shark! What creatures will you see? Dip your hands in the warm waters of the Rockpools and feel it flow between your fingers. You might even be lucky enough to come face-to-face with a golden starfish, one of the most beautiful creatures in our seas if you ask us. Next, how about paying the otters a visit? A sign you're nearby - listen out for splashing water. They love playing around, especially at feeding time. In fact, feeding time for all the creatures at the aquarium is one of the best times to see them. Otters nibble away at their dinner, rays swoop in to catch their food, sharks dart forward with a swish of their tail. Seahorses are perhaps one of the most astonishing creatures in our seas. At Seahorse Cove, you'll get to watch them bounce harmoniously through the water, admiring their delicate bodies and learning all about them. Making learning fun Be sure to remember some of the facts you read along the way of your adventure around the aquarium, they'll be put to the test if you fancy taking on the quiz trail. You might even win a prize at the end. Would you believe us if we told you the aquarium is home to mermaids? Well, we guess you'll just have to see them for yourself first.  Watch them move as elegantly through the water as the creatures you've just passed by, drifting up to the glass and flashing you an enchanting smile.
