TheShimano Deore XT FC-M8000 11 Speed Chainset is a performance mountain bike chainset designed to maximise your efficiency and ensure you're shifting smoothly. There are loads of different variations so you can fine tune your ride, and each one is available in different lengths to suit you. All the chainsets have forged HollowTech I Ialuminium cranks for the best possible strength to weight ratio, and the external super smooth bottom bracket bearings ensure you're efficient. The three different options for this Shimano chainset are as follows... First, there's the compact option with a steel inner ring combined with a thicker aluminium and carbon composite Hollow outer ring. Secong is the triple which uses three hollow chainrings using drilled steel and carbon composite construction middle ring, combined with a thicker aluminium and carbon composite outer ring, and plated aluminium inner ring for excellent rigidity and durability. Both these chainring options have a close ratio for minimum shifting gap. Finally, you can just have the cranks with no chainring, allowing you to choose your own for your perfect 1x11 setup. However they're deisgned to be used with 11-speed Dyna-Sys DCE single chainrings.
