The Giant Contact SL Lite handlebar features a shorter 62mm reach and compact 100mm drops compared to adult road bars, ensuring comfort and control. Brake levers are scaled down too, with reduced reach and a smaller hood diameter, making them easier for small hands to use effectively.The drivetrain uses Microshift e-shifting with 11 speeds, giving smooth, reliable gear changes to tackle varied terrain. A PROWHEEL DMA chainset with a 30T chainring is matched to a wide-range Microshift SWORD 11x38T cassette, offering gears that are both easy to spin uphill and fast enough on the flat. Hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm front and 140mm rear rotors deliver consistent stopping power, even in wet conditions.Rolling on 650B Giant ALP Disc wheels, the bike is fitted with Giant Gavia Course 0 tubeless tyres for lower rolling resistance, improved grip and fewer punctures – a feature usually found on high-end adult bikes.
