Owatrol Rust Inhibitor Oil

Owatrol Oil is a highly versatile air drying product which can be used either alone or added to paint. Owatrol oil can be used directly on rusted surfaces as it penetrates through the rusted metal. When used alone, the oil act as a rust preventer by driving out all of the moisture and air, stabilising the rust and preventing it from reforming. Using it combined with an oil based paint, the oil gives the paint rust-inhibiting qualities by preventing rust to appear on painted surfaces, it also allows the paint to flow better meaning that you will see reduced brush and roller marks appear once applied, whilst also not affecting the overall drying time. Owatrol Oil is also suitable to be used on wooden surfaces through preventing paint peeling, metal surfaces such as gates and window frames and also galvanised surfaces. Available in three different sizes, 300ml spray can, 0.5L tin and a 1L Tin.
