The range is engineered on two distinct blank actions to create a fully encompassing range. The main Affinium range of 10’, 11’, and 12’ feeder rods, along with an 11’ float rod, is designed around strength, power, and control, with medium to high BTC ratings, making them ideal for casting larger weights and playing bigger fish. Each rod in the Affinium range was developed as its own project, with design, engineering and testing carried out individually for every model. The process involved NuFish’s development team alongside sponsored anglers, consultants and engineers. All blanks were subject to extensive field testing and quality checks before final approval, and only those that met the required performance standards were included in the range. Affinium 10ft Feeder Rod The Affinium 10ft feeder rod is the tool of choice when control and power is needed at close range. It’s 10ft length encompasses power in a small package but with its progressive action 2 piece blank which is jointed via a balanced spigot that allows the transition of power right through to the butt section it means that the whole of its 260 g BTC can be used to play hard fighting fish under your feet and retaining the power to lift a fish’s head for netting. Equally comfortable for traditional style feeder work for smaller fish with lighter tackle due to its mid to fast action, this rod will absorb everything that can be thrown at it when stepping up to method feeder fishing for carp into double figures. So if you are fishing “under your feet” or casting to a far bank feature up to 40mtrs this has to be a rod that will find its way into most feeder anglers armoury. Supplied with 3 solid carbon tips that are 2.5mm in diameter in 1oz,1.5oz & 2oz in a high quality protective sleeve. They say that great things come in small packages and this rod epitomizes that saying. Affinium 11ft Feeder Rod Versatility was a key objective when we set about designing the Affinium 11ft feeder. Constructed on a 2-piece blank connected by a balanced spigot joint to allow the transition of power from the stunning fish playing top section that holds its 2.5mm solid carbon tip right through to its powerful but slim butt section that retains hidden power. The design of this rod as stated, was its ability to handle smaller fish in its upper section but then its progressive action means that the power of its 280g BTC rating really comes into play when playing fish to double figures. That retained power in the butt section lends itself to distance should the conditions require, meaning that this rod will punch method/window and traditional style feeders to distances of 65 mtrs with ease, while having the absorption capabilities to fish shorter distances down to 25/30mtrs when using bigger tackle for bigger fish or in windy conditions. Supplied with 3 tips – 1oz/1.5oz/2oz meaning that by using the variety of tips supplied the rod can be versatile enough to make this a true allrounder. The rod is supplied in a high quality protective sleeve. Affinium 12ft Feeder Rod Power with control are the characteristics of this 3 piece 12ft Feeder rod. This three-piece rod is designed with some simple fundamentals in mind, which are power, distance, and fish playing action. It boasts a 540 g BTC rating which due to being built on a fast action blank, means that although the longer 550mm , 3.5mm diameter solid carbon tips give sensitive bite indication they quickly power up from their strong base through the top section where the spigot joint progresses quickly into the middle and butt sections where the fish playing and casting power is generated. The reserve power that this rod contains in the lower regions of its blank, means that this rod will absorb the demands of long cast fishing and our team of anglers have fished comfortably with this rod to 90mtrs with 60gram method style feeders and it also lends itself perfectly to the demands of big river fishing with heavy feeders to 100grams Meaning that whether you’re fishing for double figure Carp or Barbel or you are fishing for bream at range, this rod will soak it up.
