Guru Bleak Pole Float - 0.15g

This small float is designed for catching lots of small fish very quickly, either short-lining or on a whip fishing to hand, making them ideal for bleak fishing specifically. The short overall length of this pattern means that it cocks quickly, with the help of the wire stem, meaning you can see bites immediately if a fish takes the bait as it settles. The balance in the stem and bristle lengths reduce the chances of these flicking over to tangle. The small body on these are a slim rugby ball which gives them some stability in surface skim, but means they strike cleanly out of the water and offer little resistance. The bristles are highly sensitive fibreglass, in 0.7mm. The high-visibility paint means you can easily see them, but the thin diameter of this means small fish can pull them under with little to no resistance. These are likely to be a favourite for shallow canals or venues catching small fish efficiently, and of course for bleak fishing throughout Europe! THE EDGE OF NATURAL FLOATS! All the current and new Natural floats are made to be as durable as possible, with the exclusive Elastilex Paint Finish giving them incredible resistance to the elements and wear and tear, including the line digging into the body of the float. This particular paint finish means there is a very thin elastic wrap around the body, that not only secures the whole float in place, and prevents body damage when catching large numbers of fish. We also made a very conscious decision to make all the Natural floats from high quality Balsa, which enables us to make the body of the float as small as possible to offer minimal resistance and drag. Balsa is also heavier than the foam that is often used, which on rough natural venues in challenging conditions means the balsa bodies are more stable.
