It’s a design that will give you the perfect presentation when you want to slow down the rig with a pole, a long whip or a long rod. The No2 is for slowly running the rig through. It’s the perfect float for big perch, big roach and all other species where you need to present the hook bait perfectly in order to get regular bites. Large 8g, 10g, 12g These larger sizes will cope with most deep water flowing venues, especially in the winter months when rivers are carrying more water. Shotting should be kept simple with the bulk of the weight in the form of drilled bullets or olivettes positioned around 2ft from the hook. A large shot like a BB should then be positioned around 10in from the hook and the rig fished up to 2ft over depth. A good starting point is around a float length over depth.
