The protective three-layer fabric has a high-stretch profile to allow for a close and comfortable fit, while the raglan sleeves of the jacket allow freedom of movement and the raw cut sleeve cuffs give an effective seal around your wrists.On areas not using the fully waterproof membrane fabric, such as the underside of the sleeves and upper back, a soft brushed fleece fabric is used to provide added breathability and further body-mapping stretch. This fleece fabric, as with the softshell fabric, is treated with a PFC-free Durable Water Repellent (DWR) treatment – so it effectively shrugs of rain showers and spray.A YKK® Vislon two-way zip, with extra-long zip pulls, is used on the jacket to allow you to regulate airflow through your layers with ease and avoid over-heating when you are working hard. Or, when conditions deteriorate, you can zip the jacket right up to the high cut collar and seal out the elements. A silicone gripper on the rear hem ensures the jacket stays firmly in place, no matter how hard you are working.On the rear of the jacket there are three large open top pockets for all those long ride essentials, plus a single zipped pocket for small valuables.
