There is also an additional waterproof membrane layer between upper and lining for proven performance in difficult weather conditions.The Boots have a streamlined design which features a front bellow with a stitchless construction and a textile underneath for lightness, thinness and low weight. The shaping provides long-lasting comfort and incorporates an ergonomic Toe box construction for superior feel when operating the bike's controls. There is also a rear bellow which allows for flex whilst also maintain the structural rigidity of the Boot. The shift pad on the Boot has been constructed from a thin but durable real rubber layer glued on a low material volume, a lightweight and a slender Toe.For rider safety, this Boot features complete Ankle protection. There are dual density Ankle protectors on the medial and lateral sides, and reinforced with poly-foam padding for protection and comfort. The Boots also have a hot-melt reinforcement on the Shin plate for weight-saving and protection against impacts. In addition to these features, the Boots also have an internal Toe Box and Heel counter protection layered under the upper for durability, improved feel and performance, and a contoured, high modulus midsole follows shape of foot and incorporates a structured shank reinforcement.These Boots are extremely durable, making them an ideal choice for all-weather riding and adventure touring. The lateral side, Ankle and Toe box have been thermowelded for additional durability, and there is an Alpinestars exclusive vulcanised compound Rubber sole with unique side wrapping design, built to withstand the demands of life on the road.For additional rider comfort, these Boots have a dual-closure system using an adjustable Hook and Loop with  a metal oval ring on the lateral ankle plus a hook and loop flap on the upper for greater adjustability and an optimised fit. There is also grip detail on the upper closure flap for ease of use, even with gloves on.Additional features include a removable anatomic foot-bed features EVA foam and textile for memory and comfort, comfort padding in the ankle area of improved fit and comfort, and reflective details on the side and rear to increase the visibility of the rider in all weather conditions.
