Educational Traditions Compared (1995) is a comparative treatment of the educational curricula – their content, pedagogy and assessment – in schools and higher education institutions in industrial countries throughout the world.The emphasis is on differences between the major international blocs – Europe, North America and East Asia – and how these arise from distinctive cultural and historical traditions.Particular attention is given to intra-European differences, for example between Britain, France, Germany and Eastern Europe.
