While these definitely offer firmer handling than the Pro-Kit they're still not crashy or unpleasant to drive which is quite the achievement.Lowering the car gives enhanced body control through corners with reduced body roll. Reduced body-roll means better grip from all four tyres, for a more controlled confident feeling in corners. As these springs are lower and stiffer than the Pro-Kit they offer even flatter handling. Firmer springs also contribute to better handling under braking and acceleration.Bilstein's B6 and B8 range of dampers are monotube in most cases. This gives them a smooth and controlled ride, and means they are less prone to heat fade. Bilstein also develop these for real world road conditions. Pairing an uprated damper with lowering springs means you get both better response on compression from the spring, and a more composed rebound from the uprated dampers. This helps keep the ride of the car smooth and controlled. When fitting very low springs, Bilstein tend to recommend their specific short-stroke range of dampers which is what is on offer here. These use a special shortened piston-rod which helps stop the suspension bottoming out.The B12 Sportline Kits are the best handling kit this side of high end coilovers.
