Also available is a magnolia dial face with black script and needle pointer with a full V style bezel in chrome. It is electrically operated and requires a signal from a sender unit. It is recommended that a Smiths sender unit is used as an inaccurate, or no reading could occur if used with a different sender. It is also necessary to fit a voltage regulator for the gauge to operate correctly. Senders and regulators are available separately.
