Product Description

Carlube Triple R 0W-20 R-Tec 4 is a fully synthetic engine oil formulated to improve fuel efficiency and provide enhanced engine and catalyst protection for modern engines requiring low-viscosity engine oils. Carlube Triple R 0W-20 R-Tec 4 delivers excellent performance in both engine protection and cleanliness. It provides high-temperature deposit protection for pistons and turbochargers whilst improving sludge control. Additional benefits include enhanced fuel efficiency and ethanol fuel compatibility. Carlube Triple R 0W-20 R-Tec 4 has been developed with an array of distinct additives to maintain full vehicle performance, resulting in longer vehicle life. Some traditional oils contain higher levels of zinc and phosphorous, which may cause damage and blocking of the catalyst. The combination of quality base oils and an innovative additive system used within Carlube Triple R 0W-20 R-Tec 4 improves catalyst durability as it contains less phosphorous therefore reducing catalyst poisoning by keeping the catalysts clean and working for longer. This lubricant provides another key benefit to the vehicle owner by helping to convert harmful, environment-damaging particles into less harmful emissions. Guidance Changing your engine oil depends on the type of vehicle, the mileage, driving styles and driving conditions. Always consult and follow your manufacturer's manual for the best guidance on when to change your engine oil and what type of oil to use.  If necessary, you can check the oil level and easily top up your engine oil. Ensure your car is on level ground, and the engine is cool and not running, simply open the bonnet, locate the bright handle of your oil dipstick and gently pull the dipstick.  Clean the dipstick to identify the oil level markers then fully reinsert the dipstick and pull it out once more. The oil shown on the dipstick should sit between the high and low markers.  If your oil is below the low marker, you should top up with the manufacturer's recommended engine oil grade and specifications. Alternatively, you can book your vehicle for an oil change at your local garage.
