Plasterboard jointing and filling: Use as a plasterboard jointing and finishing filler. Cracks in plaster: Do not overfill. Smooth off with a wet spreader for a perfect finish. Decayed wood: Remove all decayed wood down to sound timber and allow to dry thoroughly before filling. Cracks around doors and windows: Tetrion’s strong adhesion and resilience to movement can provide a permanent solution. Screws & plugs: Can be screwed into, provided the depth of set filler equals that of screw or plug. Filling around skirting boards: Can be used to fill cracks and holes around skirting and architrave. Tetrion Easy-on is a high quality and high performance interior filler especially designed to help make plaster filling and jointing jobs as easy as possible. The ideal compound for use in projects which involves filling joints, gaps and holes in many household materials including plaster, wood, stone, brickworks and many other building materials. The special ‘dual-action’ formulation means Tetrion Easy-on cures effectively and provides a fine, easily sanded, smooth surface without the need for a separate ‘finishing’ filler. Directions for use Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from loose materials. Add 2 parts Tetrion Easy-on Filler to 1 part water. Mix thoroughly to form a smooth paste. Apply with a filler spreader or float and smooth off with a wet spreader. Working life is approximately 60 minutes and setting occurs after approximately 140 minutes depending on atmospheric conditions. Due to Easy-On’s special Dual Action curing properties the filler can be applied into deeper cracks without the need to build up layers as with traditional ‘air dried’ powder fillers.
