It is made of Extrilene®, a high quality polymer that can withstand repeated impacts. The BOPLAN® Flex Impact® BO170B crash protection bollard is a durable safety product that has an impact resistance of 7.5 kJ. This means that it can stop a loaded forklift truck weighing 3.8 tonnes at a speed of 7.2 km/h at an impact angle of 90°. The BOPLAN® Flex Impact® BO170B features an optimised base plate with a cover piece that increases impact resistance. The Base Defender protects the screws that anchor the round base plate to the floor. This recyclable rubber sleeve makes it physically impossible to drive over the base plate and damage the screws.
