Product Description

Discover remarkable animals and excellent conservation work Visiting the aquarium on the sandy shores of Great Yarmouth, you'll feel as though you're at the heart of the most beautiful marine wildlife. The dimly lit passageways electrified by the irresistible colours of gorgeous sea creatures will keep you entertained and inspired as you take it all in. You’re spoilt for choice by the number of enclosures and exhibitions on display. We think it’s best to start with the biggest first, the Lost City of Atlantis-themed Ocean Tunnel, where the largest inhabitants roam. Shimmering colours lighting up the water Incredible creatures swim in the 250,000 litres of seawater, and they'll catch your eye against the crystal clear backdrop. You may even get to spot Noah, the green sea turtle, as he gets tickled by the aquarium’s scuba divers while doing his exercises. As you’re guided by majestic sharks and brightly coloured clownfish, you’ll learn about the amazing work the SEA LIFE Trust does in protecting habitats and marine wildlife around the world. You’ll also see how you can help SEA LIFE Great Yarmouth to continue its conservation work and raise awareness of stamping out litter. The kids will want to keep coming back to see their new friends The sweet Humboldt penguins will likely steal your hearts. Watch as they waddle up to say 'hello' and slide on their bellies. Masozi and Ntombi, the resident African dwarf crocodiles, will also want to make your acquaintance as you enter the Crocodile Enclosure. A top tip to spot the difference between them - Ntombi will probably be behind her feeders, and Masozi’s wonky teeth make her extra distinctive! Have you ever wondered what it's like to stroke a starfish? Wander to the Touch Pool and feel the prickly sensation of their leathery skin. You can even touch the sea anemones and common shore crabs. Something special to take back home You’ve now explored SEA LIFE Great Yarmouth’s precious marine wildlife for the best part of two hours. Before walking back to the car parked on Marine Parade, we recommend a stop at the gift shop to find little mementos to keep you inspired by wonderful conservation work.
