No exaggeration but itβs the worst pub food weβve ever had. Parmo was soggy and chewy , lasagne was rock hard and the chicken curry was like water and tasteless. And got given greasy frozen chips. Came out wanting to spew me ringer up.
Yesterday 28th November we had a wake here. The two staff who were there were amazing,we couldn't have asked for more. We asked for a buffet to be provided and it was very nice. I can highly recommend going here and we will be back as we've had food from here before and it it is beautiful. Thank you so much for looking after us all.
Amazing atmosphere, great staff and delicious food. Went for tea before staying for the quiz. Had a fabulous time.
Visited with family & ordered meals for 5 persons . Waited approx 30min for food to arrive . They brought out 3 meals ( chicken parmos ) & waited for rest to arrive . After 20 mins the rest of the food hadn't arrived & asked where the food was . The gentleman serving at the bar looked at the order placed & printed it off before disappearing into the kitchen . He advised us Aww it's a printer error and not printing out properly !! But don't worry you food is now in the oven cooking . The rest of our family had finished there meals .we ended up asking for a refund for the meals that we didn't receive & leaving . The pub was quiet at the time & we were both upset & shocked as to how on earth this had happened yet again . As a few months earlier we had similar issues but accepted apologies & understood as it was very busy . This clearly has put a big red flag on going back for a meal esp as it was very quiet & the bar man had put our order through & brought out only 3 of the 5 meals asking who had ordered each meal !! How on earth could this if happened & why hadn't the bar man gone straight back into the kitchen to collect the remaining 2 meals or even enquired with the kitchen as to where the rest of the meals were . The 3 chicken parmos weren't the best that were served up as they were very hard on the edges that it was a struggle to cut them & very greasy. Don't think we will be going back .
Had lovely hotshot parmo was delicious n tasty well worth the price
