Lovely Sunday dinner. As we're vegetarian often get disappointed but the cottage pie (veggie) was excellent alongside properly cooked veg n veggy gravy. Good value too and very welcoming.
Near the train station and main road so convenient for transport links Old type pub vibe but cosy and comfortable Nice pleasant helpful staff Not booked a room here but visited the bar Food looked lovely and they have won awards in previous years for the classic parmo Really warm and welcoming vibe and atmosphere.
Excellent staff and service. Plenty of food and average prices keep up the good work. Booked assistant mountain.
It used to be good portions. Went in today. Staff lovely. Portions were tiny and not with what we paid. Gave been in many times. Won’t be going in again for food . Had the Sunday lunch what a let down
Been here a few times. It's a very ordinary typical pub. In need of a good refurbishment. I've had a meal there once and it was very nice. Fair selection of drinks. I've never stayed there. They have entertainment on sometimes. I was there yesterday and there was a band on but it's quite a small pub so it was extremely loud, however it was very well patronised with a lot of young people. On the other occasions when I've been there it was extremely quiet.
