In the dog house in Marske is in North Yorkshire Customer service was very welcoming & friendly. The atmosphere was buzzing . Very dog friendly, hence the name. I got a chicken and chorizo & a Cappuccino for £6.85 . Very reasonable price. Cafe during the day bar by night. There is plenty of seating. Will definitely be back again when I next visit the area. Free park car park.
A bit hidden away but certainly I would highly recommend this place. The food and drinks are reasonably priced, the staff friendly and smartly dressed
Decided to visit after reading the reviews, wish we hadn’t bothered. We felt unwelcome from the moment we walked in. They say it’s dog friendly yet there was no friendliness towards our dog or us for that matter. We sat in the conservatory and a member of staff came in and sat down near us and she was talking v loudly on her phone, v rude behaviour. We were going to order food but decided just to get a drink, which took around 20 mins to arrive! Considering the cafe only had about 3 other people in at the time, we couldn’t understand how 2 drinks could take so long to make. Awful experience from the moment we walked in. Safe to say we won’t be back.
Really enjoyed our first ever visit to In The Dog House. There is outdoor seating both to the front and back. Only a small selection of toasties and paninis but a decent selection of desserts and a large selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Appreciated the salad dressing served with the side salad, its a nice touch. Nice chilled out atmosphere and the staff were lovely. Good place to stop off at after a beach walk from Redcar or Saltburn. Found it a little pricey which is why four and not five stars.
Fantastic cafe, staff were lovely. Great selection of drinks and cakes. Delicious iced coffee and fruit smoothies. Hendrix our dog loved it, too
