The lady on the till is always so pleasant. The food here is always spot on, and portions are generous. Food comes in trays I do wish it was just old fashioned bag and wrapped in paper just tastes better I reckon. Anyway fish is stunning, batter amazing. Can't go wrong at this chippy for me. Below is half a portion of a kids fish bite meal split into two. Lush.
Tried this chippy today, always smells delicious when I walk past. Unfortunately the fish was tiny and very very thin, mostly batter very little fish and the batter was a little overdone probably because the fish was so thin it didn’t need the same cooking time as a normal sized portion, and neither the batter nor the fish tasted good. I also got a Pattie which was nice, in fact the fish in the middle of that was better quality than the full fish. It’s a shame but I don’t think I will be back, feeling ripped off to be honest ☹️
Paid this place a visit today as our usual (seabreeze) was closed worst mistake ever never again i can honestly say this was the worst fish and chips ive ever had both the fish and chips were over cooked and chewy got 2 large fish n chips for myself and my partner it was not worth the £40 i paid it went in the bin my wife was very upset
Great fish and chips. Unfortunately, messed up order resulting in a unwanted meal. Disappointing.
Excellent food here & great service too from a young lady last night & a young man tonight. They're fast, efficient & friendly. Fish is golden & crispy, pies really meaty, chips delicious!
