Usually enjoy this place but went today and place was very dirty inside, looked like the fryers hadn't been cleaned in a while, now the service is usually good, but today I was presented by a very grumpy server not very talkative and not very nice you could tell they did not want to be there. Now to the food I received spam and chips twice with curry and gravy, the spam was soggy, the batter was falling off it. The chips seem like they had been cooked yesterday and warmed up today on top of not been fresh in taste they were also not cooked through so hard inside, overall it doesn't deserve 1 star as the food went in the bin and £16 for spam and chips and a couple of cans of coke it's a very pricey trip to the bin. I might return and amend this review later but improvements are needed if you want to be charging the kind of money you are.
Really quick service and generous portion sizes. A lot cheaper than the other chippys around. Staff were super friendly also. Food was delicious and was fresh and hot. Ordered a small fish and chips, large sausage and chips, gravy&curry sauce
Very disappointed. My usual chippy was closed for a refurb so thought I'd try here. £19 for two small fish and a few chips is ridiculously expensive compared with others locally. I normally pay £12 for two and get same size fish, more chips, splash and drinks. Quality was average, fish fresh and batter crispy but the chips not so good. The service was friendly and professional but the owner is really taking the Mick with their prices.
Best fish and chips in Saltburn and best price too. The loveliest staff make you feel very welcome. Will definately be back
Popped in here rather than on the sea front. Nice portion of chips and good curry sauce. Battered sausage was fresh and good crispy batter. Got chips, battered sausage and curry sauce.
