Genix Healthcare Dental Clinic (Marske)

A few months having a baby (when treatment is totally free) I was told I needed a filling. This is the first time I have needed one so didn’t really know what to expect. I asked the dentist whether I would be able to have a white one rather than silver. She said yes but that would mean the cost was approximately £170. I was shocked by this but agreed as I was already sat numb in the chair! When I spoke to others about it they informed me how expensive this was. I contacted the manager via email who replied saying the dentist had advised me the whole appointment would have to be paid for privately (this was not the case). I replied to the email but never received a response. I later went back to the dentist and saw a lady whose job title I’m not sure of. She was not a dentist but I believe was able to complete most of the same treatment. She was absolutely lovely. She did however confirm to me that a white filling IS included in nhs treatment and as I was post partum I should not have been charged at all. I again contacted the manager who did not reply. I then used a different email address to contact the manager in case there was an issue with not receiving previous. I am still waiting for a reply. Being on maternity leave at the time not being charged nearly £170 would have been very much appreciated.

Had my second appointment with Annie today and her compassion and care for me was much appreciated as someone who has been so nervous about going to the dentist, she made sure I was comfortable throughout my entire appointment and made me feel at ease throughout the procedure. Thank you to Annie and the lovely girl who was assisting her🫶🏻

Absolutely blown away, came here for an emergency appointment yesterday as my regular dentist couldn't get me in after my filling fell out on my first incisor, the dentist was a pleasant almost chipper man who dealt with me professionally and in a friendly manner, I had zero pain despite being in agony when I went in,he gave me multiple opportunities to take a break/rinse his filling was better than the original and I'm extremely happy with the service I received would highly recommend to anyone, genuinely massively impressed after my visit

Excellent service today. Needed an emergency treatment for a broken tooth and they made time for me between appointments. Thank you Andrea and Gina for staying beyond your shift time to make sure i had a perfect tooth for my holidays. Cannot thank you all enough.
