Severely disappointed with this letting agents and the manner in which the staff speak to people on the phone. My sister, who is on benefits currently because of severe health issues, applied for a property, we had checked beforehand if the landlord would consider her and explained that she was on benefits but had been paying her current landlord (the same amount of rent as the property she was applying for I might add), for 10 years. They said that as long as the amount of money she received was enough to cover the rent there shouldn't be a problem. So we viewed the property and my sister submitted an application. She called 2 days later for an update as she hadn't heard anything back and an incredibly rude lady told her with no compassion "Yeah you didn't get it". So my sister asked if she could find out what the reasons were. "Because you're not working" she said. So my sister explained again about her excellent reference from her current landlord and queried it. To which she simply replied "Doesn't matter, you're not working Hun". Does this sound like a professional estate agents? My sister has been looking for properties for months now and getting the same response but for this letting agents to speak to her like she is less of a person because her health has made her unable to work is disgusting. I understand the decision comes down to the landlord and not the estate agents but a little pointer to the staff at Arden Letting Agents; we are all people and all trying to get the best out of life. It doesn't hurt anyone to be compassionate and kind. Incredibly disappointed and I hope they take a look at their staff and their phone manner.

The team, Peter and Shelly, has always been proactive and efficient in addressing any issues, ensuring they are resolved promptly. I have been a tenant of Ardan Lettings for short 5 years. Always been correct in communication. If there has been any issue at all they have tried to resolve it. If you are a good tenant that pays their rent on time and you have never been in arrears. They will move heaven and earth for you. If you are not being honest as a tenant and you treat them with disrespect you will not get the top class service.

Dealing with this letting agent was the worst mistake I ever made. I am no longer a landlord as the experience has left me considerably out of pocket and completely lacking in faith. The company rented my property to an unreliable tenant would couldn't and didn't pay an initial deposit (bond). I only discovered this when I needed to evict the tenant for none payment of rent. They owed almost £4,000. They also filled the eviction papers incorrectly and the case was dismissed in court due to this. Money they never reimbursed. I would honestly avoid this agent.
