Beach Retreat

I would like to get in touch with the actual owner of this property Whilst we’ve been here many times in the past through Sykes cottages and not only was the cottage itself excellent in location and facilities the service that we got from Mike and Liz who own the cottage was excellent. Whilst the cottage has still got the same charm with location and amenities Host And Stay are sadly letting this owner down, with regards to cleanliness and maintenance, we are three days in and still our issues haven’t been resolved; extremely dirty- food inside the sofas’ dirty cooker top food left inside and sticky pans in the oven sticky worktops and fruit under the main bed - which shows it clearly hasn’t been cleaned Plus - remote control missing from one of the televisions Faulty flashing lights in the sitting room Fully flashing lights in the rear outside porch Broken toilet roll holder hanging out the wall displaying plugs Light above the bathroom basin doesn’t work- amongst other things. I’ve reached out to Host And Stay on the first day and was told somebody would come at 9 o’clock the next day I phoned them at 11 o’clock to see what was happening, they said they’d call me back within 20 minutes - two hours later no one called or arrived so we went out. At 9 o’clock this morning no one arrived or called as promised again! Day3 yet still no one arrived. I spoke to Host And Stay several times this morning. Charlene repeatedly kept putting the phone down on me in a very rude fashion!! IF I was the owner of this property I would like to know about the bad service that I am paying for !!?? You have a beautiful place, but unfortunately your Service team are letting you down badly . I’d love to come back again. I hope that you decide to rent your property through a more appropriate concerned letting agency. If you’d like to reach out to me that would be great.
