We've passed this place soo many time's before and we finally ventured in... I'm soo glad that we did! We ordered 2 large breakfasts and the produce was excellent... fresh and local farm food. The lovely man who served us (Volker i think his name was) Was a real character! The food came out hot, fresh and fast! We even liked that he said "try the food before seasoning it, as it Doesn't need it." He wasn't wrong... I honestly couldn't fault it... one of the best breakfasts that we've ever eaten out. We'll definitely be back for the lunch menu at some point soon.

Called here for Sunday lunch the other day and pleased that we did. Starter of sweet potato, chicken and Chinese spiced soup was lovely. The roast beef and the roast pork dinners were great. I have a large appetite and these two courses were sufficient for me, very good value for money. The staff were truly excellent excellent and the chef even took the time to have a natter with us. Faultless, highly recommended.

Lovely welcome and service from the chef. Absolutely gorgeous, fresh food. We had the bacon, brie, chicken and cranberry melt and omelette with chicken, bacon and mushrooms. All came with crispy hot chips and a wonderful fresh salad. Great sized portion unfortunately not enough room to try a dessert. Absolutely wonderful, highly recommended and we will definitely be back. Dog friendly downstairs only and there is plenty of room for the pooch to lay down or there is outside seating which is in a lovely setting.

Called in yesterday for a breakfast sandwich and a drink. Noticed a notice stating we cook food from fresh so please be patient. Which is fine if place is busy !!. We ordered two sausage and mushroom buns and two teas. Wanted 20 mins for teas to arrive, waitress was very slow. Owner / chef was more concerned he thought someone hadn’t paid for poached eggs and rudely was shouting at customer and waitress. Waitress explained to him it was paid for but he didn’t offer apology to either. Then reprimanded waitress ( who was in the right ) in front of restaurant. Customers on another table at this point walked out without ordering. Our sandwich turned up but only one !!! He then offered to do another one but we declined( by then been there 40mins . He then proceeded to shout at waitress about our order. Halved the sandwich ate it ,paid and left. In fairness the food was tasty. Does not excuse Owner Chef rudeness and behaviour. Avoid the place as he is disrespectful to staff and customers alike. !!! We will not be returning.

Popped into this place this morning at about 11.25. I ordered a full English breakfast for my self and my wife wanted a spag Bol. We were seated upstairs and found it to be very hot, there were ceiling fans but none of them were on. It was also very dim as 1// the lights were off. When the young lady took our order I asked if I could have my Bacon and Sausage well done and she said no problem. Whe n I got my food the sausage and bacon aaa more undercooked than well done but I did try it and it tasted ok so I ate it anyway even though it wasn’t what I ordered. My wife ate her food without issues. The Breakfast I had was about£12.90 but really was only worth in my opinion about £6 or max £7. When the Man asked me at the end if everything was ok I said I had asked for the Bacon and Sausage to be well done and his attitude changed then saying it was well done but next time I will cremate it for you. This is not the attitude you want to hear when you have just paid £29.00 Even after paying the Man next time you come I will cremate if for you. Fact of the matter is we will not go back again even though we pass once or twice a week.
