Group of 4 friends stayed in October 2025. Easy access to a lovely property. Clean, well maintained and well equipped. In a fabulous and central position in Masham with some great pubs and a quirky little cafe in the Square. Full English well worth ordering! The host were easily contactable and were great when we needed to change our weekend due to a poorly doggy. Definitely recommend 👌
A group of work colleagues and I stayed in Morton House and the Stable Block for a cycling trip in Mid May. The place is absolutely stunning - loads of room for everyone, beautiful bedrooms, lovely kitchens and the feeling of being secluded and peaceful within the centre of Masham. Masham itself is a great town with more eating/drinking opportunities than you will probably be able to enjoy unless staying for ages! The hosts were wonderful - great communication from start to finish, super helpful with all of my many queries and helped us arrange a tour of the Black Sheep brewery and dinner after. The cycling around Masham is amazing - we did 3 big days and enjoyed some of the best the Dales have to offer. We would 1000% come back again in the future.
We were group of 14 with 6 kids visited Masham on the bank holiday weekend and Morton house was perfect. We had perfect host with Michelle and Columb who were very helpful throughout our booking process and pre check in procedure. The house is well kept and lot of effort has been kept to maintain it. Nice and spacious with comfortable beds and living space. If in the area we would like to book then again and I wish them loads of success
Just had our annual family long weekend and choose Morton House and Stable Block. The accommodation suited us all (ages from 17-84 years old) . Gorgeous bedding, comfortable beds and fully equipped with everything you could need. Masham is a gorgeous town, with plenty of lovely walks right from the doorstep. We sampled most of the pubs !! Especially liked the Black Sheep Brewery and White Bear (amazing food). Days out to Middleham and Ripon were lovely and Masham market was perfect for a morning shop. The hosts Columb and Michelle were great as keeping in touch, making it a perfect stay for us all . Thank you
Lovely place for a friends or family break. Has everything you need and really comfy beds. Excellent location.
