We have really enjoyed our spa morning experience. Outstanding place to enjoy and unwind. Facilities, service, atmosphere - top. Clean. Stunning. Food delicious. Cannot wait to go back. Highly recommended.
Lovely place. Four stars as altbough menu said gluten free options wasnt really that simple. However a quick word with the chef and i was sorted and food was good. Salad bar needs signs for gfree
We came here while we were having a short break in the area. This country club has a huge amount to offer everyone. We first just came to have a look and inquire about visiting the grounds. The staff in the spa reception were extremely friendly and helpful. Gave us all the necessary information and details. We asked if there was anywhere we could go for refreshments and we were nicely directly to a bar area I couldn't resist a port and a latte Again the staff were pleasant and helpful. The following day we visited again and paid a very small fee to walk around the grounds. I've shared a gallery of photos as well as some from the stone circle which isn't at the hotel but quite close within there land. It's all beautifully maintained The spar garden is a masterpiece which I shared on my Instagram @jafthegardener. Nice and quiet Calming and relaxing Somewhere for you to walk with your bare feet and sit and contemplate. The walled garden is quite vast For a affordable full day or half day this is definitely a place to visit throughout the year Sometimes you just find these gems from time to time This is truly a pleasure to visit Definitely 5 stars from me
A stunning place to visit with some beautiful walks in the grounds available throughout the year but we like to go when the daffodils are out and when the rhododendrons are in full bloom (I'd recommend swimming in the lake in the summer!) The Spa and Hotel staff are an absolute pleasure to be around, so helpful and friendly.
Had an excellent half day spa experience and lunch here. Great facilities and staff. Not overcrowded at all. Good amount of parking. Lovely walk round the gardens afterwards. I’d come every weekend if I could! Only downside was the service at lunch (on The Terrace) didn’t live up to other aspects of the experience.
